Jennifer Light, President/Owner

Jennifer joined artLinks in 2004 and has successfully led operations since January 2008.

Jennifer received a BFA in Acting from the University of Southern California, where she studied in the school’s prestigious conservatory program. Following college, she worked as a performer and theater producer in the Seattle area. Since 1998, Jennifer has called the Bay Area home, leaving the Pacific NW to pursue an advanced degree in counseling psychology. Now, as President of artLinks she is able to enjoy a perfect synthesis of all her interests and abilities. She is most in her element facilitating the ideal match between candidate and client, making placements that last.

Jennifer lives in the East Bay with her husband and daughter, and when she’s not managing the firm, she enjoys playing guitar and traveling.

As she works to expand the practice, which includes expanding the internal office staff, Jennifer is committed to maintaining artLinks’ high standard of professional creative services staffing. One of her ongoing initiatives is to expand the recruitment of new talent looking for full-time employment nationwide.

Gail Light, Associate

Gail has supported the recruitment efforts of artLinks since January 2008. Originally working remotely from North Carolina, she relocated to the Bay Area in 2012.

Gail offers experience gained in a long and varied career in training and management, building on her professional start producing Radio and TV for an international advertising agency. Her engagement with recruiting, prior to artLinks, began with 11 years spent in a firm focused on sourcing advertising and marketing talent, including creative staff. During these years, she developed a special expertise in building resumes that make the best presentation for her candidates.

Gail believes that a well prepared candidate is the best service to her clients and this approach aligns with artLinks’ commitment to providing the highest standard of professional service.

In her free time Gail is enjoying exploring the Bay Area with her husband. She is a foodie, a long time knitter, and lover of travel and live performance.
