JOB SUMMARY

Is your passion Psychology, Counseling and the intersection of Business and Psychology?  Are you a new era marketing wiz able to maximize features of a CRM, social media and online marketing?  The Director of Admissions Marketing & Inquiry Management is responsible for marketing clients degree programs.  Our client is an accredited Not-for-Profit private University dating back 42 years, built upon a legacy of innovative, online education for 16 years.

In this position you will be responsible for: (1) Online marketing, including email campaigns, e-outreach, social media and more, (2) Managing the inquiry and application pipeline targets within clients Enrollment Marketing Platform, PsyCAS and WebAdmit, and other systems used by client, (3) Preparing, digesting and analyzing data reports on admissions pipeline, (4) Ensuring accurate and timely funnel reports to executive team weekly, (4) Maximizing applications completed, and (5) Directing the smooth flow and integration of admissions systems with the University enrollment system.

JOB DESCRIPTION

(1) Online Marketing to Optimize Inquiries and Applications through the client Website and e-Viewbooks

o   Website Marketing

o   Oversee weekly editorial for homepage & News/Events

o   Make sure program offices and admissions teams are keeping content accurate and current

o   Maximize SEO of program and admissions pages

  • EMP e-customized viewbooks Marketing
  • EMP email campaigns, maximize features and work with Admissions Directors to optimize
  • EMP events, maximize features and work with Admissions Directors to optimize

•  Maximizing Applications Completed

  • Ensure that the doctoral admissions staff are prepared to enter transcripts with a student onsite if needed or by zoom (especially December)
  • Ensure that PhD faculty get lists of all inquiries to call starting Nov. 1
  • Ensure that doctoral program offices  are proficient in using WebAdmit and masters program offices are proficient in using WebAdmit
  • Work with doctoral team to make sure that doctoral students are called by faculty
  • Monitor daily the local application status of doctoral students, daily data should point to 400 PhD, 425 PsyD (I think the Both are included in that, but we should check)

 (2) Managing the Inquiry and Application Pipeline Targets Within EMP, PsyCAS and WebAdmit:

•  PhD Clinical Psychology

•  PsyD Clinical Psychology

•  MA Counseling (Fall, Spring enrollment)

•  MS Psychology

•  BS Business Psychology

•  BS Psychology & Social Action

(3) Preparing, Digesting and Analyzing Data Reports with VP Enrollment Twice Weekly

  • Counselor activity
  • Phone Calls, Emails to Liaison
  • Event RSVPs and Attendance
  • Inquiries
  • Applications In Progress
  • Transcripts Entered
  • Applications Completed

(4) Ensuring Accurate and Timely Funnel Reports to Executive Team Friday Mornings

  • Winter, Spring, Fall (starting Oct. 21)

o   2 year comparison

o   5 year comparison

  • Fall (starting Feb. 3)

o   Onboarding Goal Report

Directing EMP, PsyCAS, WebAdmit, Jenzabar, Website

  • Ensuring that there is a smooth flow between all admissions systems

o   Systems should maximize inquiries and applications completed

o   Systems should maximize marketing and events

o   Systems should ensure that deposits and onboarding are maximized

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in psychology or the social sciences
  • Strong technical skills, data management/reporting
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to dynamically present the program to prospective students
  • Technical savvy and open-mindset for admissions software management
  • Tech savvy online marketing know-how including facebook, twitter, instagram, and snapchat

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree strongly preferred, especially in counseling or psychology
  • Experience with Spectrum EMP
  • Experience with centralized application services, (PSYCAS)
  • Experience in marketing and advertising
  • Experience in managing a full recruitment cycle
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Strong interpersonal skills for counseling and advising
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • General knowledge of graduate school application processes
